Cate has been a professional illustrator, graphic artist, photographer & writer for decades. Beginning as a teenage apprentice in a commercial art & photography studio, she was trained by senior-level artists.
At the University of RI, Narragansett Bay Campus, further Cate honed her pen & ink skills hand-illustrating maps of the ocean floor long before there were any computer technologies that could handle the task.
